  The RSS' Virtual Assets Recovery Training Programme was held at the RSS Training Institute from May 11-15.  Thirty professionals from Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs), financial regulatory bodies, Crown Counsel offices, and law enforcement agencies from Regional Security System (RSS) Member States have successfully completed a five-day Virtual Assets Recovery Training Programme held at the RSS Training Institute from May 11–15, 2026.   Investigators, prosecutors, customs officials, intelligence officers, and technical experts from across the region, are participating in a five-day JITs training workshop at the Courtyard by Marriott Bridgetown in Barbados.  Regional security and law enforcement professionals are participating in a five-day Joint Investigation Teams (JITs) workshop aimed at strengthening the Caribbean’s capacity to combat transnational organised crime, illicit financial flows, and complex financial investigations. The training, which is being held at the Courtyard by Marriott Bridgetown, Barbados, is being hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in collaboration with the Regional Security System Headquarters (RSS HQ).   Director of Strategic Services and International Affairs at the RSS, Rhea Reid-Bowen, stated t hat a regional JIT framework would significantly improve the speed and coordination of criminal investigations across the Caribbean.  Caribbean states have committed to advancing the development of a regional framework for Joint Investigation Teams (JITs) following a two-day legal forum hosted in Barbados. During the forum, which was hosted by the Office of the Attorney General of Barbados and sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank and the Regional Security System (RSS), mechanisms for strengthening cross-border financial investigations and asset recovery were examined. Attorneys General, legal experts, prosecutors, policymakers, and regional security stakeholders from across the Caribbean gathered in Barbados over the past two days for a Legal Forum aimed at advancing the development of a regional model legal framework for Joint Investigation Teams (JITs) for Financial Investigations and Asset Recovery (FIAR) in the Caribbean. RSS Rolls Out Asset Reality’s Asset Management Platform Across The Eastern Caribbean

  Stock photo Asset Reality, the platform emerging as the global system of record for seized asset management, today announced a multi-jurisdiction agreement with the Regional Security System (RSS), extending its infrastructure across the Eastern Caribbean. This initial agreement covers the RSS Headquarters and four of its Member States (St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, and Barbados), marking one of the first coordinated regional deployments of a single platform for both physical and virtual asset recovery. Rather than operating fragmented national systems, the RSS is implementing a shared operating layer for seized assets across jurisdictions. Sixteen RSS Officers Complete International Leadership And Management (Gold) Course

The International Leadership and Management (Gold) Course was hosted by the RSS Training Institute in collaboration with the Durham Constabulary.   Sixteen police officers from Member States of the Regional Security System (RSS) have successfully completed the International Leadership and Management (Gold) Course, hosted by the RSS Training Institute in collaboration with the Durham Constabulary. The intensive three-week programme was designed for senior law enforcement personnel, including Senior Superintendents, Division Commanders, and Assistant Commissioners, and focused on strengthening leadership capacity across the region. During a closing ceremony held at the RSS Headquarters on Thursday, April 2, participants received their certificates and commendations from senior RSS officials, including Deputy Executive Director, Atlee Rodney, who encouraged the graduates to continue serving the people of the region with commitment and dedication.
