  The CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (CARICOM IMPACS) is seeking suitably qualified CARICOM nationals to fill the position of Operator/Analyst at its sub-agency, the Joint Regional Communication Centre (JRCC).   The Operator/Analyst will be responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis of law enforcement and border security information for dissemination to authorised regional and international agencies.   Course Participants and Instructors of the RSS Close Protection Officer Course 2026  Twenty-four law enforcement officers have successfully completed the Regional Security System Training Institute’s Close Protection Officers’ Course. The training, held at the Sir Wright F. George Police Academy in Antigua and Barbuda formed part of the RSS’s ongoing commitment to strengthening regional security capabilities and enhancing professional standards among law enforcement and security personnel. The course, held from July 6 through 17, brought together participants from the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, the Immigration Department, and the Customs Department, as well as regional counterparts from Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.   Regional Security System Deputy Executive Director Atlee Rodney.   The Caribbean must adopt a more coordinated and united approach to combat transnational organised crime . The urging from Deputy Executive Director of the Regional Security System (RSS), Atlee Rodney, who warned that criminal networks continue to operate across borders with increasing sophistication. Addressing the 2026 Annual General Meeting and Steering Group Meeting of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network for the Caribbean (ARIN-CARIB) on Wednesday, Mr. Rodney stressed that no single country can effectively tackle the growing threat alone. “ [This] is an opportunity to reaffirm our shared commitment to regional security, international cooperation, and collective resilience.
